Thanks for this post, as I have a hard time finding stuff i really like in the '90's that i TRULY feel measures up to earlier eras. Usually what bums me out is that Jerry's vocals are so shot by this time, but there ARE exceptions, and I look fwd to hearing your suggestions.

For me, it's this BIRDSONG from one of the more celebrated 90's shows (and one I was fortunate enough to attend) w/Branford. The EYES from this show usually draws the most attention and with good reason, but this BIRDSONG is also worthy of any era as one of the greats:
